We build ADUs in Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, San Leandro and Piedmont. Every project starts with a free visit to your lot.
An ADU is a small project with a big list of decisions: where it goes, what the city will allow, how it connects to the house and what it costs. The first visit is for sorting those out before anyone draws a line.
East Bay lots are not alike. Oakland has flat lots in the flatlands and steep ones in the hills, Alameda has its own rules and island setbacks, Berkeley has historic districts, and Piedmont has its own planning office. We know which questions to ask for each.
Permits are the part most owners worry about. We prepare the drawings, submit them, and answer the city's comments until the permit is issued.
When the unit is finished, we walk you through it and the final inspection, and leave the site clean.

We look at your lot and your house before we quote anything.
Scope, schedule and materials in writing before work starts.
Drawings, submittal and city comments are part of the job.
Materials stored, neighbors respected and the lot swept at the end of each day.
If a garage conversion fits better than a new cottage, we say so.
We go through the finished unit with you.
Tell us what you have in mind and what town you are in.
